چکیده
Abstract Wheat is the major agricultural crop in Iran. Using reliable tools to estimate wheat grain yield may help regional planners and stakeholders employ proper cultivation approaches increase different regions. The process-based growth models are essential analytical for representing main interactions between environment, crop, resources, production. For these reasons, have been used as an important component productive farming systems assessing improving production at field scales. In this study, parameterized AquaCrop model was employed simulate four elements that affect process, such soil water content, canopy cover, biomass, yield, of three irrigated winter cultivars. experiments were conducted locations with climatic conditions south southwest Iran during consecutive growing seasons 2016–2017, 2017–2018, 2018–2019. Results showed had simulation content normalized root mean squared error (NRMSE) Nash–Sutcliffe coefficient (CNS) ranging from 0.05 0.15 0.69 0.85, respectively, study locations. NRMSE CNS ranged 0.10 0.21 0.83 0.97 respectively. values 0.11–0.26 0.80–0.97 These results indicate has high skill cultivars vast regions southern part then irrigation productivity (WP) 324 scenarios, including nine sowing dates, levels, conditions. it skillful WP conditions, deficit dates. Overall, could be a decision-making tool managers stakeholders.

Remobilization of water soluble carbohydrates in non-leaf organs and contribution to grain yield in winter wheat under reduced irrigation
The remobilization of water soluble carbohydrates (WSC) has an important role for grain yield. This study investigated the accumulation and remobilization of WSC in non-leaf organs (chaff, upper stem, and lower stem) and their contribution to grain yield, under different irrigation levels (rainfed, reduced irrigation, and full irrigation) and seeding rate treatments (450, 600 and 750 plants...
متن کاملResponses of Winter Wheat Yield and Water Use Efficiency to Irrigation Frequency and Planting Pattern
A suitable planting pattern and irrigation strategy are essential for optimizing winter wheat yield and water use efficiency (WUE). The study aimed to evaluate the impact of planting pattern and irrigation frequency on grain yield and WUE of winter wheat. During the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 winter wheat growing seasons in the North China Plain, the effects of planting patterns and irrigation fre...

Impact of water and nitrogen management strategies on maize yield and water productivity indices under linear-move sprinkler irrigation
With uncertainty in future irrigation water availability and regulations on nutrient application amounts, experimentally determined effects of “controllable” management strategies such as nitrogen (N), water, and their combination on crop water productivity (CWP, also known as crop water use efficiency) and actual evapotranspiration (ETa) are essential. The effects of various N application rate...
متن کاملCultivar Mixture Cropping Increased Water Use Efficiency in Winter Wheat under Limited Irrigation Conditions
The effects of cultivar mixture cropping on yield, biomass, and water use efficiency (WUE) in winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) were investigated under non-irrigation (W0, no irrigation during growth stage), one time irrigation (W1, irrigation applied at stem elongation) and two times irrigation (W2, irrigation applied at stem elongation and anthesis) conditions. Nearly 90% of cultivar mixtur...
